    What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had?

    A black wit brewed here in the Houston Texas area, by No Label Brewery. It tasted like chewing on straight black licorice. Maybe it was me, cuz I hate licorice, but it had no subtlety, no nuances, nothing but licorice. The rest of their stuff is good, though.

    Im tight on cash..can i use a pot that had food cooked in it?

    You betcha. I even used a stock pot I've used to make jambalaya, gumbo, stew, etc in to heat up sparge water when I first got in to partial mash. As was stated earlier, make sure you clean the $h!t outta it though.

    I'm confused as to why it took 4 days to get to you. I order from AHS all the time, and here in Galveston it's overnight. I know It's about 250 miles further, but the 4 day shipping seems insane to me.

    Oxygenation. If you've got a CO2 system, you could pump that in to the carboy on top of the beer and displace the O2 (CO2 is heavier, the O2 goes out, the CO2 stays in).
