    Young Plant Hurtin (I think)

I posted a few pics of my wee little hop bine (4" so far) and the discoloration that it is getting. Anybody wanna take a peek and see if they have an idea what it could be? http://backpatiobrew.wordpress.com/2010/06/03/one-down-one-left/ After a month in the ground I finally got two bines...

    What are your Homebrewing Goals?

I'd like to be good enough at brewing to have the option of only drinking beer I make myself year-round if I feel like it. Oh and to grow some badass hops!

So how much water should I be giving these little rhizomes? I keep reading that they are thirsty little plants and then I read "don't drown them". So what's the happy medium? http://www.backpatiobrew.wordpress.com

Opened my first beer about 2 minutes ago!

Good to see another person from SLO on here. Have you ever been to any of the homebrew rallies up at Firestone or anything?

    Should I Worry

Mine are about 1.5" below the surface.

    Should I Worry

I'm in the same boat (day 15 here) and i'm starting to worry that I either watered too much, or not enough. I'm on the central coast of CA and most days have been between 65-70 high and 50 low so I figure thats good weather. So i've watered them every third day or so. Sound right? You can see...
