That didn't fix the problem I removed the old thermostat and replaced with the temperature controller. Wondering if I got a bad unit. Anyone know how to check the controller

Just finished my first batch of cider tonight it turned out great had to add some concentrate to sweeten it up. Because I used a champagne yeast and it was to dry being as it was only 2 gallon I put it in gallon jugs placed it in the fridge will it stop fermentation in cold I doubt it last...

I just use a light grit to remove any build up the brake clean didn't get or any surface rust that's starting I use the same type metal to build treestands that are out in the elements and the paint holds up really well as far as heat primer I'm not sure I have used the rustolium heat paint...

I have used a lot of this in past. Just weld it wipe it down with brake clean to remove oil and dirt. Scuff it with sand paper if you want not necessary though then paint. I've never had problem with paint not lasting

OK my first batch set I'm primary for 21 days been bottled 1 week and there is sediment forming in bottom of bottles I did expect that. My question is can you reduce or eliminate the sediment. Maybe letting it set longer in fermenter or racking to secondary. Thanks

If you use 8 oz juice instead of priming sugar will it take longer to carb up how long. Like 3 weeks I have a 3 gallon batch in fermenter now. I used red star champagne yeast thinking of using the juice to carb. This is my first batch of cider.

ok my first batch is on day18 in primary obviously i failed to mix wort good enough or made some other mistakes i did not check the gravity to start with so i dont have a starting point to compare but on day 14 it was 1010 and today the same its suppossed to be 1040 it taste good and is clear...
