would it be possible to use this inkbird IPB-16 controller
and plugging in a 120vac to 24vac transformer such as this
and hooking up the honeywel gas valve to the transformer screw terminals to use the inkbird PID in the on/off mode to control a propane burner?
i bought a harbor freight motor a 90 degree 10:1 gear reducer and a love-joy connector to connect the motor to my barley crusher. the motor is 1725 rpm and .5 hp which is 1.5 foot pounds of tq. the gear reducer divides the rpm by 10 and multiplies the tq by 10, so you end up at 172.5 rpm and...
What are you using them for? Most people don't go bigger than 1/2". The stout tanks kettles are 3/4" I believe. Not sure what the ones on Brewers hardware are though.
if your getting 1' or 1.5" fittings get the 1/1.5 clamps the measurement you were looking at was probably the overall diameter of the clamp but that is the clamp needed to connect a 1" or a 1.5" fitting. both the 1" and 1.5" diameter TC parts all use the same size clamps
has anyone had success with the pi2 and a vertical screen? i have it working no problem horizontal but when i switch it vertical the screen image gets distorted. if i then switch back to the pi1 with the same sd card with the adapter bc it is micro it works perfectly.
It's from surplus center .com it was about 120 bucks. I found it much cheaper than a low rpm high torque motor and a lot easier than rigging up the big wheel and little wheel reducer that I've seen. Here is the link to what I think is the reducer I bought. They have so many on there. You'll...
I use a harbor freight motor hooked up to a 90 degree speed reducer that cuts the rpm by 10 and multiplies the torque by 10. That is then hooked to the mill with a lovejoy. I think the rpm of the motor is 1700 but it is reduced to 170 after the reducer. I have had 0 issues since putting it...
