This is my first attempt at making wine. Subject pretty much says it all. My malbec-shiraz kit had two yeast packets in it. I pitched one tonight, but wondering if I should've pitched them both. Thanks!

@stratslinger, I don't see too many distributors around my area. @The_Cleveland_Brew_Shop, I'll be sure the kegs aren't missing any extra pieces. By picking them up locally, I am at least saving on shipping.

I'll be picking them myself. I haven't found any online stores that have them that cheap. The ones that do are not clean, and need new seals. I am not in a hurry to build a kegerator, but don't want to pass up a decent deal.

I see that kegs are getting more and more expensive. I found a guy on craigslist willing to sell me 5 kegs for $225. Is that a good deal?

@TheJasonT, thanks! What I've done in the past, is take my grain bag out, and sit it inside a colander over a pot. I sqeeze it from the top with a plate, and leave it alone. While my wort is coming up to a boil, I let the bag drain. Once it hits boiling, I just dump whatever came out from the...

I've only brewed in a bag a few times, and always used a BIAB recipe. I am bad with keeping notes, so I have no idea what my efficiency is. I need to set up an equipment profile in BeerSmith.
