Yep I didn’t catch that. 11 lbs is perfect, only thing I see is Anchors website state 47 IBU, I upped my 60 min addition to 1 oz. according to brewersfriend that should put me right around that target.

My MonteRYE-PA. Not to bad, first time using my SSBrewtech all grain set up. Need to filter next time. Turned out nice, smooth and the Northern Brewer Hops pop.
I like your thought process, I have “throw-away” beers in the fridge just for that situation. I go with Pacifico or Coors Light. What is everyone else’s go to “throw-away” beer?
Raining cats and dogs out so I thought, Eff it, Alvarado Street needs my patronage. Having a cold pint of Back in Action, a west Coast IPA. 7.2%abv nice and clean, little fruityness but balanced well with hops. I give it a 7.5 out of 10
Got it, okay what method is better? Do they both produce the same product? Or are they both completely different methods that produce completely different beers?
