    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewed a split batch WC Pale and Black IPA (3g each) this morning. Racked the pale, added the steeped dark grains, more hops and a lb of DME to hit the Black IPA target. Samples taste good. Kept it simple with all C hops for both but Notty for the Black and S-05 for the pale.

HB Porter (based on Mad Kings Honeymoon Porter recipe). Great recipe. Tonight it’s the “regular version” without the pecans-bottle conditioned.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Enjoying a Friday morning brewing a Helles lager. Halfway through the mash cycle. Another split batch. Half as my 2nd attempt at replicating Surly‘s Fiery hell with Puya peppers, hickory chips and half with just the hickory. My first attempt was a yummy Helles but not hot enough. Doubling...

    What are you drinking now?

Just tapped my take on Mad Kings honeymoon porter as a pecan version. Only poured a taster but super happy with it. Body is perfect and it’s a smooth with chocolate notes and hint of pecan. Going to let it mature a bit and looking forward to tasting the evolution.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

@Kent88 I haven’t tried other methods but love my Camp Chef pellet grill. Get great smoke flavor and bark when I want it. Here’s todays turkey. I got the sidekick as I like to reverse sear. Have had my smoker a few years now and super happy with how it’s holding up too.
