Here is my recipe as of now, anyone have any inputs? I chose a fairly low attenuating yeast in hopes some of the mango flavor will come through

I am in the process of making my first recipe right now and I'm planning on it being a Mango IPA, as a gift for a friend of mine (although I'm sure I'll keep some for myself) who likes IPA's a lot and absolutely loves mangoes. I plan to dry hop it along with actual mango. I know the mango flavor...
I'm just as new as you but the response that comes up time and time and time again on these forums is that airlock activity is by no means a good indicator of fermentation and checking the gravity over the course of a few days to make sure it's stable is the only way to know for sure.

Try seeing if there's any microbreweries around you. I took a tour of one recently and the people there were very friendly and willing to answer any question about beer, brewing, and microbreweries that anyone had plus they gave us free samples
