M sure there's a million threads on this but I'm using my phone app so it's a pain in the ass to search through them. What ratio should I have or dme/ water in my starter? I'm using sand Fran lager yeast ad making a rice beer around 1.056 starting grav

Doesn't matter what the OG of the beer you're brewing is, the starter should always be in the 1.020-35 range. I use .75 oz. of DME per cup of water to get me there.

Use this ratio.

For a 1liter starter use 100g DME. it is easy to scale. A 1.5 L starter uses 150 g of DME.
