I have some left over spent grains I used to make a chocolate porter. Will any chocolate grains hurt dogs if I make them into doggie treats?

did you use cocoa or something? even that being the case, i would imaging most of the theobromine would be in the beer......

I'd expect any actual chocolate used would have been added post-mash.
The imperial chocolate stout I brew doesn't see any chocolate until the end of boil...

Cheers!

you know, this is off-topic...but in my 15 years of brewing once a week, i've never used cocoa in a brew. i think i should change that!
