Maybe I'm just not cut out for this keg thing.
Any help is much appreciated. I just bought a brand new 2 tap regulator from midwest supplies and hooked it up to my CO2. I tightened the connection to the CO2 tank and placed the plastic ring inside. I slightly turn on the CO2 and it blows right through the regulator and seems to rush out the pressure release valves on the regulator. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the issue?
I have been reading for over an hour and I saw a couple threads about CO2 leaking out the connection and people forgetting to place the nylon ring in, but mine doesn't even seem to be leaking there. Believe it or not some is getting into the keg as I am running star san through my lines to clean them before I keg the beer.
Any ideas would be amazing.
Thanks!
Nick
Edit. Managed to fix it. Stupid mistake by me. Had the valves turned tight instead of loose.
