Doing some log work...that first step of the porch is a little tall! Too warm and too many biting black flies. Lots of breaks.

The camera angle on the first pic makes it looks like the roof pitches back to the house.

edit, @nobadays I am sure you roof is sloped correctly. Just saying looking at the small thumbnail photo it seems like an optical illusion from the angle that the picture was taken so the rafter tails on the right side of the picture appear to be sloping downward toward the house. Could also just be how my eyes register things.
