I have a GE 7.0 cf chest freezer which I might convert to a keezer in the future. Right now I have 2 ball locks and a 5 lb co2 tank. I've been looking for a spare and came across some $40 20 lb co2 tanks on craigslist. Anybody have the same freezer and use a 20lb tank inside? I want this as the primary tank. For now I use picnic taps, so I want to know if you have enough room to close the lid over a 20lb tank. The thread about specs and layouts indicate it can. If I were ever to convert into keezer, I would probably leave it outside, but for now I need it inside. Anybody have experience with this?

Thanks

For the record, the answer is it does fit with no collar. Looks like you need to adjust the regulator to fit, but it will close!
