Pumpkin Ale

I am brewing a pumpkin ale today and just found a missing ingredient in my kit.
The recipe calls for 1oz of Cascade hops (wich is missing), instead I have 1 oz of Saaz Pellet Hops in the kit.
Can i use the pellet hops instead?

I don't think it would hurt, it will just bring about a different taste. In Pumpkin Ale, from what I understand, the hops don't really come through anyway because the spices will overpower the hops, so I think you will be okay.

I suppose in a pumpkin ale, it wont matter much as say a pale ale.

in your recipe, when was the cascade hops being used?
(what time in the boil or post boil?)

...only for the last 2 min of the boil
