The wife bought me a Partial Mash kit for Pliny the Elder at O'sheas brewing here in SoCal. None of the ingredients are labeled so I have no idea how close or not it follows the real recipe. But this kit came with a single pack of Danstar Bry-97 yeast. I believe the real recipe calls for WLP001 or US-05. Should I use this single pack of yeast or take the 45 min trip to my LHBS and get a second or switch up the yeast and buy a couple packs of US-05? Weird, even the packaging for the kit recommended the WLP001 but yet they included the BRY-97.
