Signing Emmanuel Sanders would be a nice coup for the Pats. Brandon Llyod still hasn't really meshed well with Brady. If you take away Lloyd's 2010 season with the Broncos he is a below average league receiver.

I can't wait to see Dwight Freeney in a Pat's uniform - the rest of the division is shaking in fear....

The point was that Leon found a way to be in impact player, not trash talking the jets.

Let me see if I have this correct at the moment. Outside of Gronkowski and Hernandez, the Pats have no one else on their roster who had more than 50 receptions last season. The next closest is Shane Vereen with 8 receptions last season. There are not exactly many, if any, #1 receivers on the market for the outside. Is there a plan here or are they looking to fill these positions with the draft? I've heard Emmanual Sanders as a RFA possibility, but I'm underwhelmed.

In Idzick we trust....for about 12 months and then the NY media will destroy him. He'll get a longer leash if he can somehow acquire a young QB that flashes potential like Accorsi did with the Giants. The fans can stomach a few up and down seasons if there is something to build on - at the moment it looks like 2013 is going to be about getting through the cap crunch.

So many overrated AFC teams it's not even funny. Colts? Ravens? Bengals? None are even that good. Especially since the Ravens sold out half of their team. Colts were the luckiest playoff team ever, Bengals are a solid team but not that good. Bears, Giants, and Redskins are all better teams.
