Got started with it, hated it, and used it for apfelwein for a while. It's been retired since.
 
So are you trying to post a picture of yours? If so, you need to put it on a hosting site, as your link isn't showing.

There have been several different styles of Mr. Beer fermenters through the years.

A 1.5 gallon Pilot.
A 5 gallon version. (I think called the Bee)
An older version of the current keg, that actually had a air-lock.
And the current iteration, sans air-lock.

All of which are perfectly good fermenters.
 
I started with "The Beer Machine". Pretty cool beer making machine, very easy to use, and you get good beer in 1 1/2 wks! Just decided to step it up a few notches :mug:
