I just made porter and im wondering if i should use yeast from it to ferment RIS, porter was at 1.069, RIS from recipe would be around 1.1 and im using notty this time.

I would think you are fine. You should have several generations of yeast in that porter that have adapted to the higher gravity environment...it makes more sense than just using a bunch of packs of fresh Notty if it's handy and fresh.
