Grey settlememt on my ipa in secondary?

Anyone know what this is? I can't tell if its an actual inch of grey sediment or just a thin layer of build up on the edges.... What do you think?

Looks like a settlement. But, get used to it. It's not like the UN is going to do anything to stop it. Have you considered forming a militant organization?


Oh, wait, that's just yeast.

It's yeast, your beer is clearing out as the yeast go dormant they stop swimming and drop out of solution.

I dont know why, but i always thought yeast was that tannish color of the first layer. I didn't know that yeast was grey.....?
