Never used the falconers flight before so have no idea on their taste and/or aroma thinking I whirl pooling an ounce in a black IPA tommorow. Anyone familiar?

Citra
Sorachi ace
Amarillo
Maybe some simcoe?

That's what I taste from it. It's a great citrusy blend of hops that hits all the notes and gets the Amarillo in there too.

I just finished listening to the CYBI Uinta Dubhe Black Imperial IPA podcast and the brewer there uses Falconers Flight for dry hopping so it's definitely being used for black IPAs. If nothing else, at least you know a commercial brewer is using it in black IPAs. Their whirl pool hops were Bravo; Falconers was only used in dry hop. FWIW.

Sounds good to me. Should all work well together. I also had a beer with Ahtunum hops paired with the falconers flight blend. Turned out nice.
