My house was flooded a few weeks ago. I had a keg with CO2 attached in a box freezer that flipped on its back. My concern is with the CO2 bottle and regulator. I know the tank is always supposed to be stored upright, but when I found it later, it was laying on its side. Do I need to do anything to clean out the regulator before a attach it to a fresh bottle of gas?

Was the regulator underwater? If so then it probably would benefit from a rebuild. That tank will be fine, just set it back upright.
