Spunding for lager in Sanke Keg

I’m now a professional brewer but still do some homebrew stuff. Spunding is relatively new to me and I’ve got a valve. I want to do a lager and ferment in a Sanke keg. I’ve got a way to put the valve on. My concern is, when it’s finished, how would I transfer to my serving keg? I’ll have the...

    Stirling Engine brewery

Just tossing this out there to see if anyone has ever used a Stirling Engine with their brewing. I'm wanting to use the heat from the HLT and/or Boil Kettle to generate power for my pumps.

    Keggle with ball valve

30L Keggle with 1/2" ball valve. I'm upgrading my system and won't be needing this anymore. $100 or trade for a good used Chugger or March Pump. I'm located in Reidsville NC just north of Greensboro and on the VA line near Danville.

    Cheap control panel

I'm building this version of Kals electric brewery control panel http://m.instructables.com/id/Electric-Brewery-Control-Panel-on-the-Cheap/ Does anyone have any suggestions that may have built one? I've ordered everything already except the box and I'm building my own out of aluminum.

    Pin Lock kegs & 20lb co2

I've got 5 Pin Lock Kegs and 5 20lb co2 tanks all current hydro. I will sell 1 tank with 1 keg for $150 or take all for $600 to resale or trade or what ever. I'd rather not ship these due to weight and packaging. I'm in Reidsville, NC just north of Greensboro and just south of Danville, VA.

6 Gallons of beer + 5 gallon carboy = mess on the kitchen floor and 1 upset SWMBO. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew Talk while driving.

    Rant about a noob

I've been brewing for more than a decade and a half and I feel like I still learn from every batch. I recently got a buddy into the hobby and his third batch is in primary now. He sends me a message yesterday saying that his beer is better than mine and was quite cocky about it. I'm all about...

North Carolina Almost complete keg system

4 Pin Lock Corny Kegs and a full #20 Co2 tank with current hydro. A few pin lock fittings gas and liquid and a few spare gaskets. All are in decent shape and hold pressure. The only reason I am unloading these is I've gone Sanke and they are getting in the way of the SWMBO. The Co2 tank is my...

    1 bbl biab

I have a 45 gallon stainless pot with a drain tube on the bottom and double walled. It was a stew pot from a church that wanted to downsize so I got their old pot. I do all grain now using two pots and an Igloo mash tun. I want to step it up a bit but don't want to purchase another pot (HLT) and...

    NC: Pin or Firkin

Prefer a pin but would take a firkin for the right price. I don't care the condition as long as I can seal it up for fermentation.

    BJCP Exam

I'm confirmed to take the BJCP exam in May. I've been wait listed four times but now I'm in. I've been studying the style guidelines been brewing for 18 years and even entered and won some competitions. I still don't know what to expect and some pointers and study help would be great.

    How much?

I've four pin lock corny kegs just sitting around. All are in great shape, hold pressure and I have fittings for them. I've been using Sanke for quite some time and want to sell these at a fair price. How much are they going for? I remember paying $20 each for them as I bought 5 for $100. One...

North Carolina 4 pin lock kegs for mill

I've recently switched to Sanke kegs and I'd like to have a mill. I'd prefer an original Phil's Mill or something similar. The Pin kegs have all been recently rebuilt with new o rings and two have had the springs and poppets replaced as well. Let's make a deal. Eric

    Keg conditioning screw up

Kegged my winter warmer last Friday and thought it would be a good idea to keg condition it. It's an all grain spice lager. I added 5oz of priming sugar left over from an old kit. I have an event this Saturday that I'm supposed to have this beer. I'm afraid it won't be carbed enough and will be...

    Sparge plate?

Been using a piece of aluminum foil with holes poked in it to sparge with. Today I ended up with a 13" square of 16ga perforated stainless steel sheet with 3/32 holes in it. Same as all the false bottoms everyone has. I cut a 12" dia circle out of it and I'm thinking of placing this over my...

    Reinheitsgebot double standard

Question/Discussion... I just kegged a Black Pomegranate Tea beer on Tuesday and last weekend I brewed a California Kolsch. My wife being the constant antagonist in my life brought up the fact that most of the beers I brew don't follow the reinheitsgebot but I talk bad about breweries that...
