    When to carb a lager?

I just moved and filtered a Munich Dunkel that I made 3 weeks ago to a keg and am going to let it lager for awhile. Question is should I put the CO2 on it now or wait awhile? Barry

2nd brew yesterday on electric brewery clone

Brewed a clone of Kona Fire Rock. Hit all temps just fine. Only issue that I had was in cooling the wort, for some reason the water stopped flowing in my plate chiller, did not notice until about 1/4 was through it, had to turn the water up and got it to 90 and had it in the freezer and in 2...

    Back into brewing

Yesterday brewed my first all grain in 5 years, well first of any kind of brew in 5 years. Of course I had to go all out and build myself a Kal's ElectricBrewery clone. Brewed a knockoff of Odell's 90 Shilling. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Barry

    Question on upsizing recipes.

I am just about to purchase a full blown Blichmann system for 10 gallon batches. My question is that a lot of beers I would like to make have recipes for 5 gallon batches. To take it to 10, do you just double up on everything in the grain bill? Sorry if this is a silly question. Barry

    Hello from Colorado

I have not brewed in 4 years, was just starting to put together a 10 gallon system when I ended up having my 5th back surgery. I had then planned on moving to a Caribbean island so put everything in storage. Now that that has fallen through, I am back to planning my 10 gallon system. So far...
