    yeast smells sour- Bad ?

    I have some WL 320 America Hefe Ale yeast in a starter right now. it smells sour. Haven't used this yeast strain before. I'm used to Belgians and I'm well aware of its smell. Does it sound like it may be a bad batch ?

    The honey flavor comes from the Honey malt yes. It complements the crystal, and combined with the Vienna gives this beer a rich flavor. I am kegging 10 gallons this week that is dry hopping with Citra right now.

    Depends on how bitter you want it. I don't like my ales too bitter, 30-35 IBU. I bitter with Cascade, and then Dry Hop with the Citra. That way you can really make the tropical flavors of Citra shine
