    How cold to kill yeast?

that cold will not kill the yeast, it only slows them down. You would need to add Campden tablets. i'm not a pro on this so hopefully someone else can chime in with a better answer.

most beer in Ontario is going to run your around $40/24 and that is just the regular BMC type. i can brew 10gal for about 2/3's the price.

    Slowed Growth

if you are using fertilizer, try to keep it off the plant best you can. Some fertilizers will burn you plant so bad you can kill them. i lift the plant greens off the soil and sprinkle around them.

    10 gallon brew

not sure if you found your answer, but yes you can. you likely just need to make a step starter. i use mr. malty to find the amount of yeast required and then i use BillyBrews step starter. i do this often since i brew 10gal batches only.

Need help with a yeast starter

no need to poke holes, just sanitize and wrap. don't wrap it so tight that your trying to make a perfect seal. like posted above, you want the air to be able to get in and out as need be.

    Bottling from Keg Question

it likely took you longer to log on to HBT and post this then it will to sanitize a bottle or two. i sanitize all the bottles and growlers. this way if for some reason i don't drink it, i can just toss it in the fridge. no need to worry about anything.
