110v Recirculating eBIAB 2.5 gallon batches

You could always just plug the pump into another circuit via extension cord. It wouldn't be controlled by your controller but at least you wouldn't trip your breaker.

Sufficient cleaning regimen for Perlick 525SS

I broke down one of my Perlicks after a year of use to soak and clean everything good only to find it was spotless. I, like the other, run BLC and hot water though the lines and faucets for cleaning. So I believe just running cleaner, water, and starsan through does the trick for Perlicks.

    BCS 460 Temp probes

I re-did the wiring on mine while making them a little longer. No problems. It will probably effect the calibration since the length of wire has an effect, but it is fairly simple to recalibrate the new probes. Just look it up on the BCS wiki.

Keggle HLT and MLT drain orientation

I always thought people were making sure they don't reduce flow by using non barb quick disconnects/camlocks etc?? You definitely do not want to reduce flow to your pumps. So if this is before the pump you may or may not have issues with priming/cavitation. That's the only problem I see.

Electrical Question for New Shed/Home Brewery

Yes, sorry. I re-read the post and I guess I read that last question out of context. As long as you upgrade the wire, swapping the breaker shouldn't be a problem, as soccerRef said.

Electrical Question for New Shed/Home Brewery

This should be a big no no unless you can confirm that the 30 amp circuit was wired with 6 gauge, which I doubt. It was probably wired with 10 gauge. You can always go down in breaker size, not up.

    Etekcity ph meter

What acidrain said above. I also purchased this pH meter and the ATC is only good for 32-122 deg F. So be sure to cool a sample below 122 before taking a reading.
