How many gallons of homebrew in 2018?

    New Hoses

Do any of you ever switch out your old silicone hose with new? I am still using the same hose I bought 6 years and MANY gallons ago. Haven't seen a need to do it other than cosmetics. Actually, my beer continues to improve as the hoses get older, dont want to disrupt the zen.

    2000lbs (one TON) of grain

WOW, I am nearing the 2000lbs of barley mashed mark. I had nothing productive to do yesterday, so I added up all of the grains used in my young five year homebrewing history. In those 2000lbs I have learned a lot. Heres to another TON!!! Note: MM2 with hardened rollers still runs like new!

Bottling from keg when carbonation is incomplete.

I find my naturally keg carbonated Tripel not quite ready to meet the Contest deadline. I do however think it will be ready on judging day. If I bottle up a couple from the keg and the beer is not quite carbed, will it finish in the bottle OK? What do you think? Anyone done this before?

    Just got a Brewhemoth

Just picked this up from a fellow homebrewer that decided not to expand after purchasing this new. Been a while since they were making these. Who has one and how do you like it? Seems like the finish is not as nice as some of my other stuff. The top inside welds aren't finished very nice...

What are you doing instead of drinking this weekend?

This is a hybrid thread. A cross between what are you doing instead of brewing, and what are you drinking now. SWMBO ( I can say that now that Trump is Pres. Elect) wont let me drink, and I cant brew until I have keg space...

    Plate chillers

OK, i,ve been using a Blichmann 40plate chiller since my first batch 4 years ago, and I brew often. My question is: does one plate chiller have less propensity to plug than another? Tired of waiting for this stupid wort to chill due to the Blichmann chiller being almost completely plugged...

    Salt flavor enhancement???

Do you know how when you are eating a fresh cucumber or tomato, that there just seems to be that feeling like, "if I just added a little salt this thing would really taste good" ? Well, one of my recipes leaves me with that exact feeling. Almost like a little slickness on the tongue would just...

    Pump suction header

I have brewed on this rig for a few years now and have never "organized" the plumbing. I have always hated the tangled mess of hoses that was my brewhaus, so i finally spent a couple bucks to get the necessary fittings. Pictured is the suction side only. Im still working on the discharge side...
