    Is my hole too small?

    If you are referring to soft copper tubing , 3/8 ID tubing takes 1/2 inch copper fittings so you should be ok

    Softened water

    Has anyone noticed any off tastes while using water ran through a water softener? I am thinking of trying mine instead of using RO water like I have been . I have had it tested and it comes in at 252 ppm of Na so I have been reluctant to use it . Any thoughts? Thank you.

    MLT shape pros/cons

    Which cooler is the best insulated ? i have a 48 Igloo but I have to keep a water heater blanket around it to keep my temps fairly constant. I would sure like to find a cooler that i did not have to use any blankets. The fact that I brew mostly in the winter does not help matters any.

    Mezman , ask the LHBS to run your grains through the mill twice. I find that makes a noticeable difference for me.
