Just whipped this up. Had everything around the house just spend a couple bucks on the power switch. I tested it with a screw and made a glass of koolaid. Just need to order a stir bar now.
Had all I needed lying around the house. Just had to buy the power switch. Works really good. Tested it with a screw and koolaid lol. I just need to order a stir bar now.
I saw these kits on rogues store website. They're a bit pricey but I'm curious about the morimoto soba ale. Anyone try these kits? Are they worthwhile. I usually brew all grain but I'd be willing to give this a shot if the results are good.
Just bottled a 6 malt amber ale thus evening. The other two carboys have a double ipa and a peach wheat. These are all grain kits from Austin homebrew. So far so good. It's been 4 years since I've brewed. Feels good to get back into it.
Never brewed two batches in one day. It was kinda hectic but everything turned out good. Brewed a double ipa and a peach wheat. Here's the cooling of the ipa.
My friend is new to homebrewing and he ordered a kit. I told him he could freeze the hops but he left the wyeast pack in the bag with them. Is the yeast salvageable? And yes the friend is me.
