I saw these kits on rogues store website. They're a bit pricey but I'm curious about the morimoto soba ale. Anyone try these kits? Are they worthwhile. I usually brew all grain but I'd be willing to give this a shot if the results are good.
 
I have made the Dead guy and the Shakespeare Stout, both were really nice for Extract kits, results were very close to the commercial beers. Another bonus of these kits are the little hints from the brewmaster on the box/instructions! I have the Soba kit, but am not really sure I like that beer enough to have 5 gallons of it in my keg, lol...
 
My wife did the hazelnut Brown. It's delicious but be warned that ours didn't include any yeast. So you will have to figure in the extra cost for Pac-man yeast.
