    Help!

Awesome! Glad everything worked out pretty smoothly.

    Help!

That's the craziest damn thing I've ver seen. The only thing I could possibly think is that your liquid dip tube is clogged, either with a stray hop chunk, or something. You might try (and I hope someone comes on and says whether or not this is a good idea, cause I've never done it and I don't...

    Sugar Cane Buck

Ahhh, a good ole experiment, that's the ticket! Keep us updated, I'm dying to know how this stuff turns out, and I don't have a sugar cane harvest to try it myself, haha. Good luck!

    ruined beer from hops?

That will certainly speed things up. I fill my bathtub with the coldest water and a 10 LB bag of gas station ice. Once the water level in the tub is at or above the wort level in the pot, I tie the pot handle to my soap holder, and turn the faucet on med strength, so it creates a cold water...

    Sugar Cane Buck

Seconded. Also a starter with a drop (stress SINGLE DROP) of olive oil. It provides whatever they get from dissolved oxygen. You still need to aerate, but you can be sure you've aerated well enough. Don't do it for beer though, cause too much can really screw with head retention.

    Sugar Cane Buck

Aw man, that's awesome. I've never heard of it, but I don't see any reason it shouldn't work. They're are definately a lot of things you can do to improve the flavor of the finished product (such as using a pure yeast culture instead of wild yeast, though that sorta ruins a lil but of the magic...

    Salvage a Stale Beer

You don't wanna scare em away from future brews! But then again, I don't think I've ever liked my own keg... Hmm, maybe I should pour some coors in unmarked bottles and tell everyone it's my latest batch....... >: )

The most overrated band and/or singer

Google search K pop... There's your girl bands right there. Me and my buddy drink shoji at a local Korea watering hole, and joke that the TV programs they show are like the last decade, 10 years from the future, lol.

    Salvage a Stale Beer

I hate to say but I've got to agree. Just about every time I've tried to carb with something cool, it all goes awry. In fact I've prolly tried to carb with maple syrup more times than with than dextrose, and I've had more under carbed beers than not lol. One of these days though... One of...

Do make sure that it comes with a diffusion stone.

    Beer Competitions

As someone who's last batch was the first one I made that I didn't enjoy, but didn't have any major screwups, would you mind sharing your newfound water knowledge? I use tap water too and never thought anything of it, and maybe I could easily improve my brews.

    Fermenting too long??

I wouldn't worry. You shouldn't leave a beer in primary for years, but the only thing that your really gonna wanna think about is oxidation, which isn't too much of a danger because primary creates a little blanket of CO2 over the beer. The bucket lets a little Oxygen through but so slowly and...

COMPLETELEY NEW, What kit to start with

Seconded. G at least one or two beers down without infection or crazy off flavors. I've always felt a close kinship to guys in the Northen Brewer instructional DVD (it should be on their website or free, and is definitely one of the best video tutorials). Like the bald guy say "If you can make...
