I have been running into issues of having really muddy wort since I started brewing biab, I been thinking about giving my grain a good vorlauf after mashing by pouring out of kettle onto a secondary container through the grain
Do you think that will give me clearer wort?
I just bought a new keg and it came with over 40PSI of gas in it
I don't know what gas it is, I just assumed it's CO2 and I'm about to use it to pressurize my other keg
What could go wrong?
Turned out ther was a lot of gunk on the surface but there is still surface rust in multiple places
Luckily there is no pitting, so I was thinking about soaking it in vinegar for a good amount of time
I contacted the seller and fortunately he was willing to do an exchange so I won't be doing...
I recently purchased a used keg and I noticed there is some surface rust on the inside of the keg and on the dip tube

I'm planning ahead for the future and figured at some point I will be serving 2 kegs out a single CO2 tank. That being said, I haven't purchased a CO2 regulator yet and am wondering if it's better to purchase a pressure regulator with a single gauge like this one...
WOW! this is really helpful, thank you @wsmith1625 as well
I think I will purchase this set of items
I do have a couple question though
What's the difference between 5/32" ID vs. 13/64" ID
What are the RETAINING CIRCLIP for?
Also correct me if I'm wrong, the 1/4 shank goes into the 1/4 to 5/16...
That's really good to know, I ma consider cutting mine open as well if there's no other option, FYI the winged nut is connecting to the D-sanke coupler
This end is what connects to the faucet
