Anyone try Zorks? I know they cost more than cork but appear easy to put on, even easier to take off and can be used to recork a half bottle for a few days.

yup they work great. make sure you use the correct type of bottle for them though. check out their website. the correct bottles are the ones with a "ring" a few millimeters down from the top.

Yup. They work great. Not with all bottles. They will not work with the fat necked bottles. If soaked in hot water first they go on easy. The used zork can be reused as well. I usually use a used one for the last bottle when I am botteling. That way I can just drink it in a few days and not risk any loose sedement that may be present. Besides, that last bottle is never full so why waste rack space trying to age it or a good cork to seal it?

I soak in star san, then dry in dishwasher on heat cycle for a couple minutes. Palm it on with no problems. If you're going to bottle more than 5-10, I would wear a leather glove to relieve some stress on your hand. They hold a great seal if installed correctly, and allow for the bottle to be stored upright.
