I've been asked to brew 10 gallons for a get together in October. I'm thinking about doing a pale ale with the same ingredients as many Zombie Dust clones but I am trying to keep the ABV and the IBUs low. I want people to be able to have a few without getting "wasted" and I know that hoppy beers can turn some people off so I want to make a beer that is palatable to as many people without sacrificing may brewer integrity.

This is what I have right now:

Batch Size: 10 gallons
Estimated Original Gravity: 1.051
Estimated Final Gravity: 1.013
Estimated Color: 6.1 SRM
Bitterness: 45.9 IBU
Mash Temp: 152 F

Ingredients Amount Item Type % or IBU
15.75 lb 2 Row (2.0 SRM) Grain 79.7 %
1.00 lb Torrified Wheat (1.7 SRM) 5.1 %
0.75 lb Munich Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) Grain 3.8 %
0.75 lb Carafoam (2.0 SRM) Grain 3.8 %
0.75 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L (40.0 SRM) Grain 3.8 %
0.75 lb Melanoiden Malt (20.0 SRM) Grain 3.8 %
1.00 oz Citra [12.00%] (60 min) Hops 21.6 IBU
1.00 oz Citra [12.00%] (40 min) Hops 19.0 IBU
1.00 oz Citra [12.00%] (5 min) Hops 4.3 IBU
1.00 oz Citra [12.00%] (1 min) Hops 0.9 IBU
SafAle English Ale (S-04)
3.00 oz Citra [12.00%] (Dry Hop 7 days) Hops

So, what do you think? Will this have the profile I'm looking for? The crowd will be an eclectic bunch that will consist of people from the ages of 35 to 65 that don't typically drink American adjunct lagers.

I brewed the clone and didn't use as much hops because citra can get
Quite expensive. I did an ounce at 60, 30, and at flameout then when racking to the secondary I used 2 ounces. That was one of the best I have done. It was also for 5 gallons. Also maybe reduce the dry hop time to 5 days. I've had better flavors come out with that
