Im planning on brewing a blonde ale in a week or two and was wondering if wyeast 1084 would have a decent profile for the style.i have some washed and would like to use it before it gets real old.im new to changing things up in the "recipes" ive used and some thoughts would be appreciated

1084 has some funky fruitiness and esters that come through pretty strong in lighter beers. Personally I like it and sometimes use it to make bitters and ESBs. I say go for it unless you really dislike fruity, estery beer. (Note: You may be able to avoid this and get a cleaner flavor profile by fermenting at the low end of the temperature spectrum. My results are from fermentations at ~68F.)
