I have recently purchased a youngs winebuddy 7day kit and have some questions on the degassing stage. It says to stabilise the fermented wine and then decant from one bucket to another 6 time however I have read that this could force oxygen into my wine and spoil it. Would it be better to siphon off the wine into a second bucket and stir vigorously with a spoon. Before adding fining and bottling. Thanks in advance.

Siphon into a bucket and stir with one of these:

They've got a half a meter long handle and cost about 4 bucks at your LHBS.

Fantastic. Thanks as this is my first tome doing wine Im so worried about screwing something up and ruining the batch
