I've decided on buying the Ranco dual stage temperature controller, having endured some insane weather here in Chicago this winter and after after having read through the threads on this site. Only question I have left would be answered if someone would kindly explain the differance/advantages of this one...

and this, besides price?

I would prefer to purchase the unit prewired even though I know its a bit more expensive. Thanks in advance for the help-John

Same controller, just different external wiring methods. The factory model uses pigtails terminated with three pin sockets, the Morebeer version has a dual outlet married to the case...

Cheers!

I have both the dual and the single stage I bought from ETC. Both prewired. HUGE PITA gone. Love them!
