I have a quick, and probably simple, question regarding stepping up a yeast starter. I'm using the Homebrew Dad's calculator on the Brew United website. Here is what I'm coming up with for my recipe:
My question is, for the 2 liter second step, do I need to double my DME from 102 grams to 204 grams since instead of 1 liter, it will be 2 liters? I'm thinking yes, but I just wanted to be sure before I do the step up. Which, will be as soon as I get an answer here!
