Alright, due to an oversight on my part, I will not be able to obtain the yeast I want (white labs 001) for when I brew on Monday (Canadian long weekend).

My plan is to take 600ml of my IPA I just kegged (4 weeks since pitching 001) and add it to 1.4 L of DME wort in my starter flask. I'm going to use yeast nutrient and oxygenate it with O2 for best chances to get going.

I'll be doing this regardless because my brew day depends on it but has anyone attempted this? I figure it should work. At the very least I'll report back so if someone searches for this in the future they'll know what happened, ha!

And yes, I did harvest yeast from the last batch but it fell off the fridge door onto ceramic tile and.. well it's not in a jar anymore.
