I'm brewing a 10 gallon batch of IPA tomorrow with 1272. I made a starter, but ran out of DME and time to build it up. I had my wife stop at a brew shop to get another pack for convenience, but she got 1056.

So I will have 220 billion cells of 1272 and about 90 billion cells of 1056.

Will this do anything bad or weird? Please advise.

Thanks

Also it's the inaugural run of this brew stand!

1056 is a slightly cleaner, less estery strain IMO but if you ferment the beer at say 65, you most likely will just get a nice clean ferment with low esters and no conflicting flavors
