yeast comparision

Does anyone have a site or a Sticky of comparing yeast and their chararistics in regards to tempature and esters and general flavors. And what book should a beginner look to get to gain understanding in yeast for beer.

White labs has a great poster. Email them or ask your LHBS if they can help you get a copy. Mine hangs in the garage and it's a well used resource.

And the Yeast book is not really for beginners, but there's no beginner level yeast book that I know of. Whatever how to brew has is probably more then sufficient for beginner knowledge.
