Wyeast Nutrient Package Picture

In case you are curious, here is what a Wyeast nutrient package looks like. I've never seen one before it has been ruptured from smacking so I thought I'd post it for others. When I received the yeast package, it had swollen too much to smack the package to burst the nutrient package. I was making a starter so I didn't need the nutrient package anyway. I was surprised at the volume of liquid in it. I guess it is a mixture of wort and nutrients.

I read all the worries of pre-swollen or non-swelling packages before I bought my first pack. It was also my 3rd brew. I knew what to expect and made a starter. I did smack the pack.
