Wyeast 2565 Starter problem

Hey - This is my 3rd time using Wy2565 for a Kolsch. I am following my usual starter procedure of using a 1L starter on a stir plate for 24hrs before pitching. Only this time, I made my starter last night and this morning I see zero activity (no bubbles, or any sign of life). It has been about 12hrs since the starter has been on the stir plate and at this point in all of my other starters I had seen CO2 formation. Has anyone else experienced this? Someone please calm my fears before I start my brew day today. Thanks!

How old was the pack of yeast? What is the ambient temp ? How much DME did you use in the liter of water?

How old was the pack of yeast? What is the ambient temp ? How much DME did you use in the liter of water?

Yeast was 1 month old (5/1/18), I used 85g DME/850mL wort. Starter temp - 69F (20.5C)

Looks like you did everything right. I’ve used the same yeast several times with no issues.
Are you seeing any yeast settling on the bottom of your flask?
