So i brewed up a new batch yesterday, i usually just hang the bag and squeeze a but after mashing but this time i decided to try a pour over sparge in a separate bucket. After boil i checked my gravity reading and thought it was a bit low for my grain bill, so i went to the bucket that still had my grain bag in it and decided to give that a good squeezing thinking i might get more good wort out of it. I got about a litre and a half out of it and boiled that for about 20 minutes, i added that to my wort that i boiled with my hops. Was that ok to do or should i have not bothered?
