I woke up this morning to this mess. This is half cleaned up already. I thought 1.5 gallons headspace was enough. Fml

I see one with a blow off tube! Which one blew? Use a blow off tube EVERY time!!!

The one with the blow off tube. I managed to sneak that on ASAP. I had about 1/4" of beer along the bottom.

I woke up this morning to roughly the same thing! blew the airlock right out, kraussen and beer all over the floor. It was my first time using nottingham, brewed a dry stout. Never had this happen to me before! what a yeast!

I'm using dry s04, and I've never had it happen before with it. I've brewed this exact beer before in the same size fermenter without the blow off and I was fine. I just checked in on it and it overflowed the growler I had the blowoff in.
