Anyone know what it is?

Pellicle formed in 48 hours... absolute pineapple bomb. Brett C maybe?

I boiled my starter vessle with the DME in it so I am pretty sure its not a sanitation issue. It smells and tastes like pineapple but the pellicle looks wrinkled akin to pediococcus. I've seen a lot of brewers say there is a pellicle when brewing with Saison III...

I have a Brett Lambicus starter going at the same time, I am thinking about pitching them together into a simple Pils wort.

Whatcha think guys?

I've used this yeast three times and never once did it produce a pellicle or anything that looked like one. I also did a fair amount of research on this yeast before I brewed with it and all the sources indicated it was a sacc yeast, no bugs. Supposedly one of the old Dupont secondary strains.

Even if it did contain a brett yeast, there is no way it would form a pellicle in 48 hours. I would check your sanitation.
