Wiring help for window A/C unit

I was looking for a little insight as to how I need to wire in my Ranco temperature controller to a 12K BTU LG window A/C unit. I am building a walk-in cooler and want to use the Ranco for the temp. I have the diagram of the A/C unit on the left and the Ranco on the right. I want to eliminate the A/C unit's temp probe and wire in the connection to the Ranco. Any insight is much appreciated. I will be posting a thread of pictures of the walk-in build soon. Thanks for any assistance!

Well I thought I would have had someone to confirm my thoughts, but I have resolved myself. I simply removed the RY-Comp relay with the NO contact on the Ranco. The compressor kicks on with the temperature setting from the external controller.
