Over the weekend I brewed an IPA for the first time with my plate chiller and I didn't think about how narrow the restrictions would be. A near complete plug ensued. After I salvaged 4 gallons of my brew I was looking through the new William's Brewing catalog and I saw their new (I think) hop spider. I've used a hop spider made from all thread and nylon mesh before but this one looks more durable and much prettier.

I think this will help me keep all the hops out of the plate chiller (just as a homemade hop spider would). Has anyone tried this thing out yet?

I was just searching for a hop spider I could use either in my grainfather or in my traditional keggle setup and stumbled upon this thread. This sounds perfect more me and it's cheaper than the other options I was looking at. Awesome!
