Will this work in place of the love controler on my brutus build?

Not trying to cut corners but I still don't like spending money I don't have to. These are the temp controllers used on theelctricbrewery.com build. Any reason these wont work on the brutus 10 build. I am electrically stupid and will have a knowledgeable friend handling all the wiring.

Should work fine, PIDs are all the rage in automated brew rigs - even if operated in on/off mode...

Also any reason I couldn't use this in place of the ASCO or Honeywell solenoid
