My fermentation chambers won't get the beer any colder than 42.3F. I'm going to use Gelatin for the first time to clarify the beer. Most writeups I read about using Gelatin reference bringing the beer down a bit colder. 42F should work fine no?

It will definitely work at that temperature as well, but likely not as efficient. It should however make clear beer.

I've used gelatin once at room temp and in a day I could see where it had worked. If I remember correctly it was clear beer at the end of the second day. Colder works faster.
